Hello,

Using the SUUNTO STIGNER and the dive manager, can you please tell me:

Air Temperature, Max depth temperature and End of dive temperatures if
they are automatically recorded by the STINGER and then trasfered to
the Dive Manager or they all three have to be manually entered?

Please explain me how are they measured and/or logged for each of the
temperatures.

Thanks,

Mario

If it's anything like the Vyper, they are automatically recorded and
transfered to DM, BUT I would not trust the readings. The Vyper takes a
long time to adjust to temperature changes. If you spend a short time at
bottom below a thermocline, you will be very surprised to find that your
temperature at depth was a balmy 65, while you were shivering and your
buddy was wondering if she could use that shade of blue on your lips for
her bathroom remodel.

Note to Florida divers: Yeah, I know, 65 ain't balmy. Go boil your heads
in the Gulf Stream.
