A 40 year old owner of a scuba shop in Texas has been in jail since July
when he was busted by an undercover police agent posing as a
young boy.
Must have been quite a disguise.
Police told a news service that frequently spams newsgroups, that they
found CDs in the shop owner's home and at the dive center with images of
young boys
engaging in various sexual acts.
Personally, I think that a the guy was just a bit over the edge in his
perversion, but I must admit that I have a hard time figuring out why having
CDs with images of minors doing the dirty to one another is a particularly
big deal . . . unless, of course, the shop owner took the pictures himself.
Even then, they may have a problem convicting. After all, how are you going
to prove that somebody who could not tell the difference between a cop and a
minor boy knew the difference between between pictures of minor boys on CDs
and pictures of cops.

Here's an article that explains your concerns a little bit better:

The guy was selling the kiddie porn, and the police offer was pretending to
be a boy on the internet.
