For those of us in the regoinal areas last night was a bit of a dive treat
on TV.

"The top Ten places to dive with sharks" aired on WIN TV.

I dont know howmany watched it, but is was worth the watch. I was surprised
how well Australia did. We got 2 of the top Ten, with the Shark feeding in
Cairns at number 8 and Exmouth and the Whale Sharks coming in 5th. I was
however surprised thar South West Rocks/ Canal Rocks didnt rate a mention
nore the Port Lincon Dives.

But there was some great locations around.

It was on channel 9 for the rest of us. Pretty lame commentry and rating
system, and that some drugged overfed grey nurse in an aquarium got a spot
in the top 10 was bizarre. I mean, South West Rocks is way better than that!
Anyway, some great footage, especially the whites, and the bronzies feeding
on baitfish in South Africa... We were ready for a trip somewhere after
watching it...

Cheers

I was somewhat surprised that the great white sharks of South Australia
didnt get a mention. Isnt SA supposedly one of the better places to visit
to see the "top of the food chain" at work ?
